Tenby Pubs
There are many attractions in Tenby, one of which is the nightlife. You will find a large number of pubs in the town, and three very popular nightclubs, the Sands Nightclub (Saundersfoot) and the newly refurbished Dj's nightclub (Penally).
Dj's in particular has made massive strides recently to become the most glamorous nightclub in West Wales. Following a stunning refit, the club is completely transformed into what is truly a party destination venue for Pembrokeshire with major uk musicians and celebrity VIP guests appearing regularly.
The third most popular club is actually the only one in Tenby. Above the 'Twisted Shamrock pub' open late all week including sunday's. If you want to see the locals shaking their moves this is the place to be.
The pubs are spread throughout the town and range from traditional to theme oriented with many now serving great food through the day. Some of the most popular pubs are briefly described below:
Totaly 100% local review of the pubs coming up, no holes barred, no bull shit!! (coming soon!!)
The Buccaneer Inn offers a great atmosphere and fantastic food. Also a fantastic beer garden which is amazing during the good summer weather. open early till late with friendly staff to help you out with any queries .
The Tenby House – this pub too offers an open beer garden and a very entertaining atmosphere. It is open all day long. and has a spectacular new years eve party every year. In fact the whole town gathers in Tudor square to watch the firework display from Tenby House on new years eve. Anyone who enjoys a good beer and a gregarious crowd has to visit this pub.
The Life Boat Tavern – very unlike a tavern, this pub is clean, posh and excellent in service. You can enjoy a great array of drinks here, as well as the famous all pervasive beer – in the Beer Garden, which is accessible through the pub. This place stays open until 11.00 PM every day.
The Normandie also has gone through a transformation over the last few years, much more modern and serving a fine menu of food.
The Sun Is currently under new management and we wish them well.
The Lamb Inn is currently closed.
From the above, you can safely surmise that if you visit Tenby and are looking for some fun way to kill time at night, you will not be left without choices. The nightlife in Tenby is rich and entertaining – and most of the times, unforgettable.
