Tenby Coastline
Tenby is a coastal town, situated along the coast of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. This path originates in Amroth (East of the Tenby town). This is better known as the Long-Distance National Trail in England and has its symbol as an acorn.
Tenby Coastline stretches from Penally (South Beach) through a vast expanse of woodland and great wildlife, agricultural land and extreme picturesque scenery, and a great mix of shorelines. This covers about 300 kilometers of enjoyment and stunning natural beauty. Many who have traveled along this path have commented that the Tenby Coastline was one of the most stunning landscapes in Britain. As you proceed along the coastline, you will pass through the Island as well as go around a little-known missile-testing site called Skrinkle.
As you move along the Coastline, you will have to cross no less than one hundred bridges, 400 stiles and some 35 thousand feet of ups and downs. The trip is mostly admired for the amazing flora and fauna it offers. The bird watchers would be specifically thrilled as they would be able to see from very close quarters seabird colonies, migratory birds and others, co-habiting the coastline with seals during the low tides.
The Milford Haven, one of the most beautiful natural harbors in the world, will fall on the way as well. Another superlative offered by this exceptional trip is the smallest town in Wales, the St Davis. Since the path would take you through the National Park, you might as well enjoy the excellent scenery and wonderful facilities of the park. There are many spectacular natural formations that would simply stun you, such as the Green Bridge of Wales, which has been formed without any interference from man. Other extraordinary natural wonders are the Wales Marine Natural Reserve (and other two man-made ones), wildflower patches, sandstones and mudstone unusual formations, and so on.
The grey seals along the coastline have always been a great attraction. These seals, along with the migratory birds and local sea birds make an excellent spectacle for any wildlife enthusiast. This trip is much better to take in summer time, though you will find that winter has its own charm.
There is plenty of Accommodation along the way catering to all types of budgets and people tastes. The Tenby tourism is a little high-end centered and sometimes the budget tourist would find certain places expensive; however, there are sufficient rooms and even house-Accommodations for budget tourist as well.
The Tenby Coastline people are not overtly friendly – maybe because they are a little wary of the almost continuous line of people that keep passing on through their picturesque locality. However, the local trips are met with great hospitality and joy.
The Coastline of the sea resort is an exceptional adventure that everybody should undertake at least once in his or her lifetime. The natural beauty, the wildlife along the path, and the vegetation are a must-see when you come to UK. Somehow, without experiencing the pleasure of this trail the holiday at Tenby would not be complete. This is an exceptional treat for all nature lovers.
